Decided to do a customized inside artwork on Smokin' Aces. I really didn't like all the little bitty covers of all the different steelbooks so I threw this in there.

If it wasn't for the German text on the back of these releases, I would be in for quite a lot of them. Deal breaker for me.

I would have had a great time customizing the insides, and hats off to you AcIdCOR3 for a great job!

I couldn't just leave my new The Thing without any inside artwork. When they're entering the cave for the first time. There's not a lot to choose from as far as fan art is concerned. Most of the fan art is too dark and doesn't show up that well. It was in fact a very dark movie to be honest. Anyways here it is.

This is great stuff, so thanks to everyone for posting.

Only have the one steelbook (The Wolfman) at the moment (got my email from amz.de this morning saying my 2 x Book of Eli are in the post though!!!!) which has no internal artwork so might have a go at making some for it after reading all this... need to sit down and have a good read and set my "patience mode" to "ultra high" though before I have a crack at it!! :D

Nice work AcidC0R3 felt the same about Serenity and ended up changing it

Had this the other day, you'd think from 3 great films you'd get good artwork but apparently not. Still not sure whether I like it or not

the originality is always the best route to go...

I don't see art collectors buying a painting and modifying to their liking :hilarious:

Yup. That's my problem too! But I typically only buy ones that already have inside art so I don't have to worry

Yeah that may be true but I gotta hand it to those daring enough to modify, I'd assume it's purely for their own enjoyment. Both the process and the finished product

of course, there are always magnificent custom work out there. I see them being better than the original.

What is the size used to print a inside image for a steelbook?
And what kind of paper do you guys use?

Thanks in advance! ;)

I use Glossy Ultra Premium Photo Paper 79 lb/ 297g/m². LINK

Size: 783 x 483

Also you can use the templates from THIS post to help you get it just right.
