It's my first Kimchi and I have received my copy today and I have a lot of scratches on the front and back of the steelbook.
Even the lenticular has some stains and scratches. I'm disapointed.

I sent a mail to Kimchi :/

reading this i really get pissed off - how is it possible that Kimchi forgets the Invoice? Charging Money in advance is okay for them but as soon as they ship their parcels they do not care about them anymore? correct me if i`m wrong but if get charged by customs because of a missing invoice-it will be the last time ordering from them -that`s for sure

Choi - would it be possible for you to speak to Tony on this ? Several of us have incurred extra charges because Kimchi forgot an invoice. Really, he should be reimbursing us for this mistake

I don't think Kimchi are forgetting the invoices. They (like most international CD/DVD/BD mail order companies I've ever used) have the invoice inside the package. On the parcel is the required CN 22 customs declaration slip.

So why is the tracking information saying this, and resulting in charges ? Something that is required is missing and affecting their customers, so they should take responsibility

I got my Monsters, Inc. parcel today and the invoice was inside like with every other Kimchi shipment.

Perhaps the tracking information is correct. As this isn't affecting you, perhaps we can leave it to Choi to raise with Tony, or if he doesn't want to then those affected can raise it individually with the information provided by the tracking systems.

UK customs have the right to open packages, so they are best placed to determine if the invoice is missing

Just had a look at my "Tangled" one and it has the same "Customs retention reason : Invoice missing" so I think its something they need to look into and put it on the outside, With this messup it's going to be hell of a lot for them both. And as much as i hate to say it, I'm not going to order from them again, just get them of ebay or here it will work out less money then geting it from them with customs added in.

Several people are now mentioning this, so it is obviously an issue. I'm pleased for those who have received their packages with no issues, but for the others the issue needs to be addressed to prevent it happening again.

I have 3 separate packages coming from Kimchi - this, Tangled and LGB. If it happens to each one, I'm going to be severely out of pocket due to someone else's mistake. And I'm sure others are in the same situation.

I just hope it can be resolved

i have 1 order on the way and 3 more orders to come, how much do customs charge you if your steel gets stopped? and do you think the monsters lenticular will come back in stock as i missed it? i got an extra lenticular of grand bleu ordered and hoping i might be able to trade with someone who ordered a spare one of these..

Not sure how much it would be, but don't forget ParcelForce add their admin fee on top which I think more than doubles the charge

You'll be looking at a £15-20 charge if customs see fit to find fault with it.

I never use EMS for this reason.
