Contrary to some views here, I absolutely love this Lenticular for its colors and 3D layers. Find it is clearer and has more depth than Tangled, Le Grand Bleu and Monsters Inc.

Got this over the weekend just in time for Christmas and I really like the depth and transitioning effect of the lenticular cover as Real Steel said. And the custom ID is a great touch for gifts. Well done!

+1 one of the best Lentis of my whole Collection:thumbs:

Hope Kimchi comes up with more;)

With these positive remarks about the lenticular, I almost feel like there are different versions. I mean, mine is seriously terrible. On both versions I bought. There is absolutely no way to get a clean image, nor does it change in any interesting way when you move the steelbook. Yes, it has some cool depth, but it is all completely blurry.

+1

I was wondering the same thing Zelos. On mine it's also impossible to get a clear image, no matter which angle I tilt it. While the colours are indeed quite vibrant, with some nice depth, there is no getting away from the fact that the overall clarity of the image (except on some of the background characters) is severely lacking.

I have been going over this for a couple of days and indeed the lenticular is poor. There isn't a crisp image. The foreground characters are hazy at best. Still a nice edition but could have been better. You can barely make out the M on the flag let alone the letters :(

I guess members here weren't kidding about the lenticular resolution of Mike and Sully. For a sec there I thought my eyesight had gone out. Overall though it's still nice slipcover.

Appreciate Choi for his efforts and setting up the GB.

Agree, here....It has great depth and clarity...except for Mike and Sully. But the more I look at it, the more I actually like it. I guess this is one of those lenticulars that doesn't have an alternate view, but instead just adds great depth and dimension.

missed out on this item, thought that the site actually had a certain number of copies for pre-order and a few in shop. "BIG" mistake, as I waited and kept checking but finally got the sold out sign. Guess I am going to have to overpay for it.

Just got mine. If I wasn't reading these threads, I wouldn't think anything other than EEK! EEK! EEK!  I have no idea what people are talking about with Mike and Sully being blurry.

This thing looks FREAKIN awesome. Honestly it's just as nice as Tangled. Mike and Sully don't look blurry. They look... lenticular. They are closer distance wise to "the camera", so they are more 3D than the other layers. In person, when viewing across a fulcrum angle from head on, it looks perfect to me, and the depth on the image is amazing, maybe the best I've ever seen. It looks like it's about 7 layers deep.

In case I wasn't clear, I'm very impressed by this slip. Great job Kimchi.

Here's a decent pic, but it looks better in hand.

After chilling in LA for about 4 days it looks like mine is finally about to leave there. Jesus this thing is taking forever to get to me.

I agree Jimmy....from what I can see the lenticular looks about average. I have rarely seen one that is all that in focus ever. It is just the nature of the beast with those things.

I'll await your updated comments after seeing it in hand. Watch.

Also received mine today, and very happy with it. Its probably one of the best lenticualrs i own, has great depth and vibrant colors. Glad i was able to get this via the GB after the online fiasco. :) Thanks Choi

when I read "very impressed" and "one of the best lenticulars" I seriously think I've received something completely different?? I'm glad i participated and bought a limited issue but i am very underwhelmed at its quality of the lenticular. I love Kimchi, i wish i could say something better.
