Same here, thought it was naff. I contemplated bringing it up but speaking out against a highly rated film is not always easy.
Why can't Gone Baby Gone be £12.99?
Having a reduced price for one day is an amazing idea that I hope will be repeated with other steels. After all, rewarding day-one adopters like this avoids the tedious game of cat and mouse waiting for an inevitable price drop further down the line. I mean just look at the likes of Cop Land, The Elephant Man, and Unknown - I'd happily buy these day one if they were also £12.99 in a one day deal but as it is I'm going to have to wait months to get them despite wanting them fairly badly.

Finally a Zavvi Exclusive that isn't a StudioCanal title!!!!
Some of the StudioCanal steelbook titles Zavvi are doing are real turds!!! What about Joe Dante's The Howling, John Carpenter's The Fog and........... ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK!!!! My God, if StudioCanal want a sought after title that IS THE ONE!!!!!!!!!! I have the Special Edition DVD's...they would make AWESOME steelbooks with the right artwork and glossed!!!!!

love the film, one of my favourites in recent years.
£12.99 is a great price, just hope its decent quality!
fingers crossed we see a few more sony titles coming, after 30 days and now this, I really hope davcinci code and angels & demons get uk steels - all the versions ive seen of those are 2nd rate.

ordered yesterday when went watched trailer forgotten had seen this due to art but is very good film, without giving anything away is nice head*uck how they did story line. question is how would any of us deal with same situation????
