Novamedia collaborates with Plain Archive, again. PA deals with "authoring", "local commentary", "booklet".
It will be released this fall.

Each to their own, but personally think the HMV steelbook looks beautiful in hand; the finish on it is good, and the image on it really isn't that bad at all, especially the back/inside artwork- Definitely prefer that to this release...
It will probably end up that there will be more of these on Ebay than that HMV one too!! :p

It went OOS pretty quickly.

I've always liked that poster image (front art), but it makes the back look even duller IMO. Can't say I'm blown away by this release so far, although I'm sure that'll change once we see actual in-hand photos... and I'm still looking forward to seeing the full slip! :D

That seems obvious now  They should tweet PA and just ask them for a few pointers. ;)

Actually like the front image but the back is junk imo. Hopefully Nova they do what they always do - and turn on a dime thanks to some middling feedback. Still interested to see the full slip.

For me it's the other way around, I like the Back Artwork it's relevant to the movie, the front I feel has nothing to do to capture the essence of the movie it's just a super close up of is over tanned face o_O

The cover (which is, granted, one of the one-sheet release posters) looks like it for a movie biopic about a Hollywood movie star. It just doesn't fit the movie.

I'm not crazy about this artwork either--seems below par for Nova. I much prefer steelbooks/slipcovers where there's a visual flow from front cover to back. Doesn't have to be one wide image spread across both panels, so long as the two panels complement each other visually. Lacking that, I'll gladly settle for a back cover that just features some type of iconic symbol or visual motif related to the movie--the scorpion on the back of Nova's Drive steelbook being a good example. But the artwork they've apparently chosen for Nightcrawler is the perfect example of lazy, dull cover design: just slap two visually unrelated images of an actor from the film on front and back. I'm really hoping they revise this.
