The Hobbit Extended Edition Steelbook (US), I think won't play 2D.
I think I will pick this up. The movie looks like a trip and the steelbook is pretty nice.

Some of the Fox 3D discs are locked. One of the Ice Ages, Epic (At least the ones that came in the German MM Lenticular steels) from memory
Movie is fun, but no classic.

My copy arrived this morning, I'm at work so won't be opening it until this evening, but thought I'd post some pics of it sealed as there haven't been any here yet (excuse the reflections).
It could be worse, at least the banner very much matches the colour scheme of the Steelbook. I don't mind it at all on this one honestly.

Got mine literally an hour and a half ago (late courier) it's really a really nice steel.
Gonna open a nice bottle of red and sit down to watch this with my wife soon.
This was a blind buy for me so hopefully it'll be a fun little psycho-sexual thriller.

Just to confirm, this version has the underwear.
Also, for those wondering it asks if you want to play in 2D or 3D straight away when you've put the disk in the drive.
French subs (as mentioned above) are not forced during the film, there was some French text shown for a few seconds during the intro and that's it.
The English version of it is (minor spoiler if you know nothing about the film):

Unless I'm mistaken, the US release was "digitally" uncensored - it's the EU release that hasn't been. The iTunes US release is uncensored at the very least.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only difference was having a pair of panties removed twice from Katrina Bowden (Danni) - and badly the second time, it was pretty obvious - all you "see" is a digital ass opposed to her in panties. It's not like it makes any difference to the plot etc.
Extras are only ~20 minutes or so no matter which version you get.
