Decided to tweak my plasma (No its not a metaphor) and was amazed how much better the picture was. Every grain of sand, every crack in the rock was visible. The colour balance was improved considerably. Definitely the Blu-ray of 2013 or probably EVER.

Watched Oblivion this afternoon (after missing it at the cinema) and I have to say, it surpassed my expectations. I loved it, and the score which is fantastic on its own fits the film so well. Deffo gonna get a second viewing soon.

Despite the steelbook not being glossy, which would have been amazing, I still really like it. One of the top releases this year for sure.

Watched this last night on my 153" Screen with 11.2 surround Sound and I think its one of the best films this year!! Simply astounding soundtrack and reference picture.

Does help if your running it through a Sunfire Theatre Grand power amp, 800 watts per channel at 4 ohms...

Love the artwork, but it would be a blind purchase, as not seen the movie. Also, the £20 asking price is quite high...

My US amaray arrived today. Can't wait till my 9.1 surround system clears customs so that I can hear the score in lossless Dolby TrueHD 5.1

Received this a few days ago and it's the first pristine steelbook I have received in quite some time. Recently, nearly everything I have picked up from the UK has arrived with damage of some sort, but this one came in from Amazon and I was thrilled with the overall look and quality of this one.

Also, had not seen the movie at all up to that point and was pretty happy with it as a blind buy!
