odd screenshot comparisons?

Am I blind or does it look like the SD looks better ... im guessing they labeled these wrong?

I think you are right Wreck, the SD side definitely looks crisper!

You are definitely blind sir , the left shows a minor improvement on the picture. While the right has a much brighter look the left has a greyish/bluish tint and the detailing is definitely sharper on the left. The right pictures are all fuzzy. The first comparison picture is clear as day that the left is better. Look at the suits and surroundings on picture on the right they all look fuzzy, now look on the left specifically at the guy in the brownish suit, it looks sharper. Even the sand looks sharper on the left.

On the close up shots is hard to tell, but the left side are slightly sharper than those pictures on the right, the right side comparisons look softer.

Brightness is not indicative of better perhaps is your preferred look on a film.
