A very, very flawed movie that I own a good three copies of already (the masterpiece steelcase, the US collector's tin, and the regular dvd release).

Can't believe I gotta get the steelbook of it now =/

I have the uk "Trilogy" in the purple box with ribbon on dvd. With artcards and a bottle opener in the shape of a HAMMER. That is so sweet. I also have the Canadian "Vengeance Trilogy" on Blu. But yeah, i will/have ordered this release as well.
How many????? Do`s anyone know???

Oh my God!

I have just watched the trailer for this, and straight away I recognized it! It's one of those films I've watched in the early hours of the morning, gotten really into, but fallen asleep, then totally forgotten about.

Brilliant, will pick this up for sure, only saw the first 30 minutes or so.

Excellent!

Agree. To me korea make the best cinema right now. They bring originality and uniqueness that other countries directors dont bring. All the special effects that hollywood uses make there movies superfluous and cliched. Korean cinema is like a breath of fresh air.

great idea.

SOOOO MANY awesome Korean movies out there. I think I have seen all of them, at least the top 100 box office movies. I owned more Korean DVDs than some of the local Korean stores out there :D

They know how to make movies...they don't have Hollywood CGI effects, but they should know how to create a story and acting.

Best watched without a clue of what it's about to get the best experience - usually resulting an a very positive (but screwed up) feeling once the end credits roll....

Yeah so true, when i first saw the ending i was like EEK! did that just happen. Just a really great film and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance need to be released on steelbook to complete the trilogy off. Which i hope PLAY.com do.

What are the odds of Taiwan/Korea coming out with their version?

Probably zero. I imagine it will be the same situation as Battle Royale where Play.com have a worldwide exclusive. That's not to say other countries won't get a release in the future, just not right now.

Slightly off topic, but wouldn't Play have been wiser to put the pre-order link up now rather than 'sometime next week'? They have all the hype around this thread which will probably die down by the time they put the link up. Bad move for them in my opinion. Good news for those who really want this though as it means they'll probably be a few more copies available to order as people are more likely to forget.

I don't think that will be the case, I think if anything this will drum up more hype announcing it now. I don't think anybody will forget in a week, there will more than likely be even more people waiting for the link to go up now.
