This is hands-down the greatest Korean movie ever made, IMO. Quite a while since I saw this, together with the rest of the trilogy, I have yet to watch a movie that blow me away like this did. Cutting edge, riveting, movie-making at its most ingenious and creativity. A must-have!

Agreed 100%. Definitely one of the best twist endings of all time, words cannot express how I felt when I watched the movie for the first time. That said, the only movie that surpass Oldboy (in terms of twist endings) is "The Usual Suspects". Still, Oldboy stands on its own as one of the best, if not the best; Korean movie ever.

For those who have not seen this movie yet, it's a must-have. Don't think twice, you will not regret it!

Anyone else a little upset at lack of embossing/debossing? They say they couldnt do it because the text is to close to the edge. Im assuming they mean the Oldboy title would have been embossed/debossed, surely they could have altered the artwork a tad to bring the title text furthur down?

Final approval from what I've seen resides with the studio, and often the choices are very limited.

So changing the art is a big deal.

I'm sure we'll have a stunning release, I've not been let down yet.
