Have to see how the UK one compares. I tend to find US matte turns out different to our's.
I didn’t even clock that was the US. Had music on in the room and my phone audio was on silent. Ffs
I didn't cancel my HMV copy. It turned up yesterday. Amazon a week late as we all know now but £10 cheaper when ordered.
Obviously, I haven't opened it because...you know, it might be delicate and I wouldn't want to have to send it back if it was, err, damaged...
but it looks a very clean matte silvery white.Image looks a tad faded mind you, especially around Jack Nicholson. Hard to get focus with a film cellophane layer.
Picture through the cellophane. Cage seems to be a metallic layer. Spot metallic by the looks.
Hard to tell obvs.

I assume you probably mean foreign language options, but the main track is confirmed as English 5.1 DTS HD MA.
Yes, I preordered the French one and this confirms for me that there is no German audio track for the 4K. Thanks @TheWildEye !

Same here. I was not convinced, getting it for £19.99, that this was going to come to fruition. Amazon are full of surprises!!!!!!!

Just in case anyone gets a damaged Amazon steelbook for this...I checked, they have no stock online. So replacements won't happen until they either restock or don't.
Mines due tomorrow. Kind of glad I kept my HMV order for now.
Looking at the tracking, the UK order and (presumably) UK steelbook has been shipped from a French warehouse? Then to Edinburgh and now down to London.

Another disappointing Steelbook from Warner, no spot gloss, no beautiful red metallic title like on the Blu-ray Disc Steelbook. Another case where the Blu-ray Disc Steelbook is significantly better.
Mine just arrived from amazon (undamaged, as it's in a WB white box), along with Pearl Second Sight from rarewaves (risky, yes, I know, but thankfully that is also undamaged!).
Basic matte steel with metallic reflections on the metal etc. Looks exactly the same as the US copy did in the unboxing.
