Should be 2K if its a WEA release but then 1.5K is being allocated outside Blufans, assuming 500 were sold, and is no longer available to buy on Blufans.

Yeah, I heard about 500 were sold, too. Seems weird that they would allocate 1500 for sale outside of blufans if it is indeed a 2k run. It's also weird that they haven't confirmed a print run on this one yet.

A friend told me they sold in Taobao. Was that another forum?

I believe TaoBao is China's version of eBay.

Maybe they're reserving it for the international site :scat: since it launches in May.This won't be ready no earlier than May and most probably past June. They certainly wouldn't want to open up a site with no inventory or set up pre-orders that won't be ready for another 2-3 months. We will find out after their next pre-order if it ends up the same way.I say there's a good chance that's whats going on.If you were celebrating a new site, you better start with a bang. You don't want customers pre-ordering titles and not having anything to show for it for the next 2 months. You will have a lot of angry buyers. When was the last time a Blufans release was on schedule?

Either the print run for this is very small, or a huge amount of stock has been allocated elsewhere.

Blufans used Taobao to sell this, this time, because of payment issues on their website. I haven't counted how many were sold but it looks around 300-500.

Maybe there are some hidden transactions but most people bought one copy, with a limit of 3. Now this is being offered elsewhere with quantity restrictions, I wonder what the print run is. People have asked on Blufans, but no reply.

There is many hidden transaction on blufans.

they usually sold 1/3 portion of print run outside of blufans.

I know there are many private sales with Blufans that are not made public. I just don't understand why this release has been very restricted.

Take Monsters University as an example. There were two versions available meaning people would most like buy at least two copies. Then, there were no quantity restrictions on Blufans. Add in the HDN GB (when it happened) and all the private sales that always take place. Yet MU was available to buy on Blufans for a long time.

Pacific Rim was only available for sale for 3 days with very limited supply. Why?

That's very strange w/no print run & was already available for preorder. Lets just hope they are saving some for webstore..

Like I said, you don't open up a website with no merchandise.Second, you cannot start with a pre-order for movies coming out 3 months later when you open.International buyers will not tolerate that especially since money is involved. It would be useless to have the new site and have your customers empty handed. It would be like opening a new BEST BUY locally with no merchandise and when customers come in...all they can do is place for an order they will receive 3 months down the road. There would be an uproar.Believe me,when Blufans open their site, they will have merchandise to sell.
Think about it...when is their site opening? When is this movie going to be released...
