Yes for all single item orders with gift wrap option.

(hope this isn't too off topic for this thread) So Amazon JP does ship in a box to international? I wanted the gift wrap cause I heard otherwise they ship you your order in a jiffy envelope. Sorry never ordered from Amazon JP before so I don't know any better haha just want to make sure my order has a good chance to arrive safely to me in Canada
 
Then you would get something like cardboard bag... which doesn't quite protect the (expensive) thing inside... I forgot to do the gift wrapped this time around also... damn it... :angry:
 
I managed to snag one of these last week, really hoping it is like the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo JP or Jaws JP Steelbook's packaging. Those were so nice.

Hey fellas, there is a possibility to add the gift option after having placed the order:

Go to:

Help > Contact us > Select your order > Select an issue and from the drop-down menu you choose

Change/confirm an order > Select issue details and from the second drop-down menu Gift setting change.

You will have the option then to either call or email them. I've dealt with them previously and whether by email or by phone, they were very helpful.

I won't be contacting them just yet personally for the gift setting as I'm waiting to see if I'll add some other item closer to release date and ask them to combine orders.

Thank you Apollon, just did as you suggested hope it works this time, but I doubt it, since we need to "Email" them as I already emailed a couple of times but they said they couldn't do anything about it... anyway let's hope this works... thanks again bud :D

You're very welcome goufcustom. I'd be surprised if they wouldn't honestly. They were in the past able to amend other orders and/or combine them so it would seem odd to say the least to not be able to add a gift option.

Personally, I'll be waiting till early December then I'm picking up that phone and asking for it, will post here by then. :)

It would be great to know the outcome of this. However those contact pages just generate an automated message to their CS, which should be no different to an email.

The issue here is whether Amazon JP allow gift wrap option to be added to OOS items.

Bummer, remains to try adding another item at the last minute for them to ship together hopefully.

I don't think this'll work either. I tried adding an in-stock order this week... placed the order & then immediately submitted a change request to combine shipping with PR, but they processed & shipped before they even emailed me back.

Possibly an order closer to the December ship date will work, but I don't see why it would be any different. Best hope is to maybe preorder something that'll release the same day.
