Latest update from Zavvi

Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

I may keep this sealed so I'm not that bothered when it gets here but from a customer service pov I'm not happy with Zavvi's yet another post release day delivery though! How many is that in the last couple of months?? Were Play ever this inconsistent?

Play were a little better but at least Zavvi are still trying to get it out somewhere near the date. Amazon won't send it until day of release sometimes unless you pay extra. It would be nice to have on the day of release but I think we sometimes get a bit spoilt with early releases and start expecting to get things before they are even officially out.

I don't know why everyone is so quick to blame Zavvi for when they despatch their releases, a lot of the time it is down to shipments not arriving in good enough time from their suppliers to get out to their customers and another one which is becoming more common is the studios ordering their resellers not to release orders prior to the release date.
I am pretty happy with their despatch times mostly they arrive in good time, a day or two prior to the release most times.

I not too bothered when my copy arrives, already seen it so I can wait, besides I have agreeing that I going to be a little busy over he meet week anyway
