Latest update from Zavvi

Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

I hate this 1000 copy crap. Just takes the fun out of steelbook collecting. I'd rather just own the steelbook than own a "rare" steelbook, the end result is the same.

Think about how many 4k+ releases there have been of late in UK...we RARELY get a 1k or less run so on the balance its still in your favour

I'd keep checking the website as some more are bound to show up with people cancelling.

Personally I'm glad to own a rare 1000 print run steelbook. I would be pissed off if I missed one I really wanted but I usually I do miss them so I'm happy as Larry right now.
Plus this Don't happen often

anyone who has ordered more than 1 copy should have them cancelled
With 1000 limited it should only be 1 copy per customer

If anyone has placed more than 1 it simply should not be allowed and anyone who has done this are not letting genuine fans of film place an order
As most people only buy 1
Buying to sell at a profit should never be allowed with any limited release of only 1000 or 2000 run

Zavvi should cancel anyone who has placed more than 1
So any customer who has placed an order example qty of 2/3/4/5 etc there order should be reduced to only 1

This is hilarious. One minute people are begging for smaller print runs but when one happens and they miss out the toys go out the pram and they demand more be available. If its any consolation I ordered 50 million and will sell you one for eleventy hundred pounds. Jokes aside. I too ordered one then cancelled it and reordered using the discount code so there's at least one floating about.

And this actually one of the few movies I liked this year. I was in NYC when it was released, went to one of those big IMAX theaters (it was amazing, there's no such theater where I live ).

Definitely a must have .

I personally like rarer print runs, it makes them more collectable.
If i get one then im chuffed as anything and if i get 2 it means i can trade in future, however if i miss out yes im gutted but thats life and no different in anything that happens in life when a very good deal/limited print run happens... So please people stop moaning and get there before the ones that did get them!!

Yah I thought it was 3pm Eastern. I was on here about 5 hours ago and it wasn't live yet. I just logged in and see it's gone? When something sells out that quickly, that just makes it clear that Zavvi is not doing much to enforce a 5 copy per customer rule. People probably have multiple accounts that they use. Whatever. I'm not gonna bicker too much. I am disappointed that I missed out simply because I had to sleep for a few hours.
