The disc will be the same as the new US Special Edition

Here's something that's made me very happy. From the PR company -

Hi Matt,

I hope you are well, please find attached the press release for Pain & Gain. I am pleased to confirm that the UK release will feature the same extras as the US special edition release.

Kind Regards

Kerry

Latest update from Zavvi
Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

By the way,
this Czech shop packs Steelbook's
so well, that we can ride by the tank on this package....
On 5kg package weight: 2,5kg = Steelbook's, 2,5 kg = packaging materials.

Why is it a better version? What are the differences, except for the limitation and Czech J-Card?

Best wishes,

Michael

Imo i dont think it is any better. Its just numbered and has a lower print run

And its the j card which is numbered, not the actual steelbook

Its crazy but for some people that equates to better. I don't get it either. :dunno:

Lucky to get one on pre order! Stupid it's only 1000

I dunno. Seems kinda smart to me. Zavvi has been eating a lot of s**t and having to sit on an pile of steelbooks that people are not snapping up recently. Point Break, and Jungle book for example. It is wise on their part to keep some of these films at low edition numbers IMHO.

And this is coming from a guy that missed out on this one before it sold out.

Yes I guess that is true. Well it sold out then I was lucky enough to get one when people who pre ordered loads got cancelled and put back up for pre order

Missed this one as well, but they haven't charged people yet which means there will inevitably be cancellations before the release date. Haven't seen it yet so not going to bother with it until I do (learnt my lesson with Pacific Rim which turned out being a rental at best).

:movie:Sorry you didn't like it. I'll be happy to take it off your hand. :)
