Some of these German releases have really lazy artwork, if you can even call it artwork. You could mistake that front cover for a bog standard amaray cover.

great movie, awful steel art, i'm so disenchanted with all this greedy market, it used to be so much fun to collect steels, but now they release every single movie even the ones not worth it...n now they trying to make us buy old movies too, which i don't mind but at least they should try to put some effort on them, the main reason i started to collect is gone now..:(

They just keep throwing Steelbooks at us. I'm lucky that I'm not interested for most of these. :D

I don't really think that artwork for this one is bad, again, it's the title that keeps me away from this one.

This is my favourite of the Tom Clancy films with Jack Ryan and WAS really looking forward to its first single release. What a disappointment :( Even though it is one of my favourite CIA government type movies, I will have to pass...sighs.

Tom Clancy makes some fabulous novels that come to the silver screen and the gaming consoles but the German title just bothers me on this one. It sort of butchers it. Oh well, I think I'll pass on this one.

Even I might consider not getting this. As previous posters have said, lazy artwork, German title (not a deal breaker I just don't like it) and pure greed on behalf of the studio. The triple pack is better value even at this price.

these are the sort of releases that leave a bitter taste. are we being taken for mugs who buy into any old rubbish that comes our way in the steelbook world?
retailers who churn out this sort of trash certainly seem to see steelbook collectors in this way.:angry:
take note, germany; LESS IS MORE!!!!

It's not really the retailers, although they must take some blame, but mainly the Studios who will jump on any bandwagon they can to milk the cash cow, recoup losses or whatever. They are going to catch a very big cold if they carry on this way imho.

btw back OT whilst I would love this in Steel as wife loves film, think I'll probably pass, wait for it in a sale.
