You don't know the reason though, so how do you know it isn't true?

Why would Zavvi lie? The lack of gloss is not just an issue affecting Zavvi releases, that is a fact clear for all to see. If it was a cost issue and a conscious choice by Zavvi, then why aren't we seeing general releases (like for example Sony titles which always used to be glossy) with glossy finishes?

If it's not zavvi's doing, who's is it? Blufans and Kimchi can do it right?

You are right....I don't know for sure. I do know however that I'm holding in my hands right now a couple beautiful steelbooks from kimchi and blufans that are shiny and slick as any steelbook has ever been and somehow this imagined gloss shortage did not effect them from being made.

It is said that 4,000 copies is the minimum print run for Steelbooks, but Blufans and Kimchi have released Steelbooks with smaller runs. I guess that must be a lie too? We know that Asian retailers are operate under a different set of rules to other retailers from around the World and of course that isn't just limited to deals they make with Scanavo.

Ok, asian steelbooks are under different rules. Then why was aladdin and finding nemo great and little mermaid alot worse?

A lot worse than what exactly? Aladdin and Finding Nemo are awesome Steelbooks and The Little Mermaid is still decent. In any case that isn't what is being discussed here.

That artwork looks horrendous. Like always with Disney releases, I think the only way is looking back and choosing some original artwork

Yep it's up for order. I ordered 12. Look forward to it

PS: Only joking. Only ordered one but I guarantee you there will be mercenaries out there who will buy loads only to sell on.

I've only oreded one but if people are going to sell on, I wouldn't blame them, this is inevitably going to sell out and I predict, it will sell out faster than most
