I'm going to wait for actual pictures. It could still look nice if they added some kind of bling effect on Tinker Bell.

Again, I think the reason these are Matte and the later ones are apparently going to be gloss was it was probably too late to do anything about it. I know barely anything about DVD/Blu Ray/Steelbook manufacturing, but if they decided on gloss after the backlash over the Toy Storys, Wreck It Ralph and Fantasia steel, that probably doesnt give them a lot of time to do anything about these ones (And I guess next week's Pixar duo) unless they delayed them, but considering how clustered the steelbook schedule is looking these days, that would be a bit of a annoyance.

But again, I know nothing about making these things, so I might be talking incorrectly. @_@ Still, I don't think the last 5 look TOO bad, aside from Fantasia's back, so I'm hoping at least they'll look decent enough. Happy enough to own and revisit these films again, as well as having them in steel, so I don't think I feel too ripped off for what I'm paying. And hey, hopefully the future will look bright.........and shiny glossy. XD

these would only look good glossy if they were also flat. as shown in the image. but they arent, they are embossed.. or, almost certainly are. and they embossing is random too. plus the artwork is just copy/pasted straight from their amaray counterparts.

not even gloss can save these steels from looking messy.

i cancelled this steel in particular because i have it already on dvd with the exact art.

Maybe Zavvi should stop selling Steelbook's, then you could moan about no more Disney Steelbook's in the UK, everything doesn't have to be gloss, there only a couple of quid more than the Amaray.
