If you’d like to be in our special 2nd anniversary video featuring renowned Korean directors Park Chan-wook, Kim Jee-woon, and Ryoo Seung-wan, please submit a video using wetransfer.com to [[email protected]]. We’ll be selecting some of your clips to be included in the final video.
Even if your video doesn’t make it in, we’ll be releasing a full uncut version which will feature all of your submissions.
The nature of the video is celebrating Plain Archive’s 2nd anniversary. You can state the reasons why you like Plain Archive, as an example. Creatively unique videos have a better chance of ending up in our video.
Here’s a good example:
Maximum length is 30 seconds with the resolution at 720p or above. 1080p is recommended.
The deadline is April 12.
We can’t wait to see your videos.

increased the pricing of shipping
To our customers,
Korea Post has increased the pricing of its EMS (Express Delivery) service and Standard service by 8% each.
This increase comes in effect on July 1st, 2015.
Our Express and Standard delivery option is also affected as a result.

Well, that sucks. May be Korea Post caught up on all the packages going outside the country and may be realized that collectors won't stop buying even with the price increase?

[Important] Dear International customers,
We ship our products to the exact address you provide us with. The address is submitted by you, and we never change them.
The shipping address may be correct, but if no one is available to receive the package, it may return to us. Some customers may move to a different place, or take a long vacation away from home. The address may also include an error. All of these circumstances are some of the biggest reasons why your item returns to our office in Korea.
We do not take any responsibility for the examples stated above.
If you’d like to receive the package, we’d have to send it again to your address, so please note that extra shipping fee will be charged.
Finally, when items are returned to us under any situation that we cannot control, please refrain from filing a claim on Paypal. It’s a payment system which acts more generously toward the purchaser than the seller. We understand your frustration, but this could lead to our account getting blocked. At a much earlier stage of our business, this occurred twice, which had an enormously crushing impact on our international shipping operation.
It’s pretty obvious, but we’re not Amazon or Zavvi. We try our best to compete with big players when it comes to customer service, but from Paypal’s standpoint, Plain Archive is a tiny thing. Please understand that the future of our international business is in the hands of Paypal.

I don't hear any complaints about their customer service. My experiences were smooth as well. I don't know why someone would file a claim with PP before actually talking to PA.
Paying twice for shipping can be frustrating though....
Combining orders is now possible
Combining orders is now possible thanks to the recent addition of a dedicated feature in our E-store solution Shopify.
1) After your request, we cancel the existing orders, then provide a full refund to you, followed by a new invoice for the combined order sent to your email inbox.
2) If the existing orders include a copy that features a numbered sticker under 100, we cannot guarantee the number will be the same, or stay under 100, or be any specific number.
3) You can request it only before we hand over the package to the Post Office.
If you fully understand our new procedure stated above, and wish to continue, please let us know with a email([email protected]).

Our New Plan
Dear international customers,
"IDA Pre-order / Our New Plan"
IDA Blu-ray pre-order seems to be going well. Thank you for participating at such an early hour. Ida definitely lacks behind in terms of demand since it’s not a mainstream film that features well-known actors. However, it is a film that we strongly recommend. Not only is it a great film, but we’re proud to say that a lot of effort went into the product.
There seems to be a lot of people stressed over the whole pre-order experience since the level of competition to secure a copy is higher than ever. Which is why we’ve decided to increase the number of copies overall. This is to avoid our product getting completely sold out in a matter of a few hours.
Ida may not be a film that has a huge following compared to others, but our new plan starts today. The plan is to produce enough copies from now on so you don’t need to rush during checkout, aka destroying the F5 button to secure a copy or two for one of our future releases.
We believe that this strategy will serve our existing and potential customers well in the long run. Any new customers shouldn’t have to feel disappointed upon finding out that our earlier products are completely sold out.
