This film was created by the Disneytoon studio, which specialise in those direct-to-video sequels.

As long as the rest of the releases in the collection are decent, I'm letting this one pass.

I have to buy this film because my 3 year old loved it. If it has a gloss finish then ill buy the steel but if its matte then ill get the amaray

Seriously Zavvi, what is the 5th Steelbook in the Disney collection? You do realise that Planes is not a Disney Classic? Right?

But it's not called the Disney Classic Collection. I'm not saying I agree with the choice as I would prefer a different film, however it is called the Disney Collection and Planes is a Disney film

Nope, Planes is NOT Pixar, it's a Disney Animation Studio title.

A lot of cinema goers were dissapointed that Pixar had dropped the ball with this effort - turns out it wasn't a Pixar film in the first place.

It's actually not a Disney Animation Studio title either, it's a Disneytoons Studio title. These are the folks who generally get assigned the direct-to-video projects and sequels, although occasionally one will get a theatrical release like Planes.

I haven't seen this one, but I'll make sure to do so before I make a decision on the steel. I was hoping that they'd stick to Disney Animation Studio releases for this collection, but clearly that isn't going to be the case.

Nice little film for kids (although not quite as good as Cars) - saw this in 2D in the theater and looking forward to watching the 3D version at home.

Not sure it deserves the steelie treatment, and likely doesn't deserve to be in the "Disney Collection" at Zavvi.

But, all that aside - 22.99 pounds???? What???? (Likely) with no 3D, this will be a pass for me.
