Wow, knew there'd likely be a steel for Planes but didn't think it would be part of the collection. I'll get this though, it was an enjoyable fun film. Simple and light but better as a sequel to Cars than Cars 2 was.

Probably wasn't chosen as such, just shoe-horned in due to it's release date

I think you're right, it's the only reason I can see why it would be included.

I dont think this film, being a lacklustre spin off of Pixars weaker films, is of the same caliber as the rest of the collection.

When Wreck It Ralph was added it was clear that any contemporary & classics could be added, but there is plenty that could have been chosen over this.

I think I jokingly said it would be Planes. Anyway, I'd be interested if we had a code similar to WIR, otherwise it's just too expensive.

Kind of mixed feelings about this one.

In a way I'm happy they went with Planes as it means one less steelbook to buy in an already crammed period, but I'm also gutted that they didn't go with any of the true classics. As many people have said Robin Hood was reissued recently so that would have been an ideal choice.

Still if it had been a Disney film I wanted then that would have been another £20+ gone, so hopefully any new Disney films will be out next year when we've all had a chance to take a breather and let our bank accounts recover from the shock of this last quarter.

It's a strange one as this isn't classed as a Disney Classic. I think most assumed that 'The Disney Collection' was only going to include Classics, but it seems that may not be the case. I guess we'll find out soon.

If this has a glossy finish, I may have to grab it, but i'll await further details.

Why the F%$k is Zavvi so afraid of 3D???????????:angry::angry:
For a 3D user and steelbooks collector like me this is very frustrating!!

How many times? It is not Zavvi who make this decision, it is Disney. They have a past history of excluding just about everything for UK releases.
