What are your thoughts on this possibly releasing?

artwork similar to this .... But cleaned up of course.

I'm not sure.. I've got the German double Steelbook and both single releases from Play.com. Maybe if you release it complete clean with only Iron Man as artwork

You didn't hear? They're making Iron Man Part 10 in the next 20 years

It is a pointless release. A trilogy including IM3 makes better sense. So, pass for me.

Just woundering how much of an influence HDN has on whether or not Paramount will release this steelbook.

As reading through this thread the general consensus seems to be that no one is that interested in this happening and would prefer somthing which hasn't previously been released.

If they are testing the water maybe a new thread (poll) could be started with a wish list for their next release.

I know I'm new here and don't want to over step the mark or go off topic, so apologies in advance.

BUT.......


but u know what? when i think about it, if they made it a 4 disc set with both bonus discs from IM & IM2 included, and it had a great premium finish, not only would I most certainly be all over it (because that would be a superior release to my play.com set), i'd also really respect zavvi for putting some real effort into the release, rather than despising them for releasing a blatant, minimum effort, 100% corporate-***** IM3 cash in.

Agreed... and it should shoot out lasers with cool little LED's everywhere and have a button when pressed that says "You are the Iron Man"....

Oh and if it cooked my breakfast for me too that would be nice...

But yes the creative effort for the next IM steel should be put into the IM3 steel and make it awesome with special finish and de/embossing like Chris said.

I voted depends on the artwork but who am I trying to fool... I'm in regardless of artwork that way it'll go great with my Iron Man Collection.

I can't believe the negativity in this thread TBH, if it does happen people will be all over it.

I'm not having a go but look at the amount of people on here that have the SB of the first 2 Nolan batmans knowing full well it was going to be a trilogy, in my mind was a waste of time like people are saying to this but it didn't stop it selling well as a worldwide release

The release of a 1+2 double might not be necessary, but that definitely wouldn't stop me getting it and I'm sure I would love it. I am a steelbook collector at the end of the day!

And I would also get IM3 and a trilogy if they released one too

Bear in mind though that 1+2 are now a different studio to 3 and as a result a trilogy is highly unlikely. Not impossible, just highly unlikely.

Already got the seperate 1 and 2 steels, so its a pass for me. Might be an alternative for those that can't afford the individual ones.

Do really hope an individual IM3 steel will be coming here (in-fact, I hope ALL the films in the Avengers series each get steels. Almost got all of phase 1...)

Do you mean the jumbo? I always thought that was a pretty slow seller, although being a jumbo probably affected it. I didn't buy that jumbo and I wouldn't buy this but I agree with you, a lot of No's in the thread would still buy if it came down to it.
