Also we already have an IM 1 & 2 combo steel so why release another with IM3 coming out this year?!

Nah, pointless with the third one coming out.

Maybe when the third one is eventually released, they could put slots in it, for people who dont have the first 2, to put their discs in.

As others have said pointless when the third will be out later in the year.

Made the mistake of buying batman begins & dark knight double steel before rises came out. Looks much better 3 single steels than a double and single.

Maybe there could release this but with Trilogy or Collection on the front instead and make room for extra discs to be added from amaray's later.

Bit redundant IMO. Better to wait until the 3rd is out and release the 3rd film in a single steelbook and also a trilogy steelbook (like MIB).

Yeah that's pretty much the same way I feel. I think they are trying to capitalize on the hype train that is IM 3 at the moment.

Not a fan of the films but this would be pointless (given the imminent 3rd film) and a cynical and lazy cash-in (given the previous steels)

There must be thousands of films more deserving of a steelbook release. If it must be more IM then at least wait and do a trilogy or just do the third to match the first two.

My thoughts exactly. If Skyfall amd Roger Rabbit are any signs, people are thirsty for new steels, not the same movie over and over again.

Had the FS Iron Man not become such a "grail", would any of the subsequent releases have sold that well?
