Because it’s not the screenshot element that looks bootleg to me lol. It’s everything else, their choices of art, layout etc. Stop taking it so personally



And out of what I own of manta, the only bootleg looking slip is their OUATIH double lenti because it’s so shoddy.

Yeah bang on. I’ve always had this thought when I look at a FA beauty shot. It’s so weird. I always thought it was maybe a European thing. When I used to be in the pub years ago and the DVD guy would come around (the man who sold knock DVDs) they always had these kind of artworks

I own the German lenti one already with both the 4K & 3D discs inside.
Nearly £80 with shipping for the cheapest E1

E3 looks the best of the slips plus the Steelbook and the collectors folder

The front of E1 looks like a porn parody…the back????

Grail would have been E3 goodies with the Box front and back artwork for the double lenti

Fingers crossed that I get an E3 because I won’t be purchasing any of the other editions

Yeey, got the emails too, been trying to decide, peeling into those low-res beauty shots.
I don't like vertical booklets, most photos tend to a wider scape, and they often, even in both of the promos for E2 and E3, put 1 photo on a spread of both pages, and it looks bad, you have to pull the booklet to the sides hard, to get a good view.
Also prefer lentiless slips. All that points to E1, but I like the slip art of E2, and greener titles on everything, rather than red. There is 1 less character card for some reason in E2, wonder who's missing.
E3 just outright no, it's a tired old art, and I don't want any glow-in-the-dark gimmicks. It also has no names on the character cards, so it's just gona be a big fat stack of photos, like the rest.
Worst looking folder too. So no, gotta decide between 1 and 2.
Or sell a still sealed Black Barons, and get both?
I've just decided to save $100 by not buying 4 Indy steels, and going to plunge it into another FilmArena release, for a the worst movie in the whole Predator & Alien franchise... no, got to be strong.

The cultures are different, the countries are different. What's appropriate in France, or Germany, might not be in England. Not even talking about Romania or Bulgaria.
Anyway, I agree some art looks 'cheap', bootleggy, photoshoped, something like that, because they often have to create something new, especially for older films like this. E1 looks that way to me.
E2 is kind of like screenshots, but they're good ones, and under muddy out of focus children's lentis won't matter much anyway.
The only precreated art is on E3 (and the box), and I don't want them exactly because I'm tired of seeing them.
