I heard that Alien 3 and Resurrection were also getting released from MM

There will be a 2nd Fox "wave" with at least 6 Titles for late November/early December release that will be (again) MM exclusive! So than they likely will not have inside art or clean backs (again, nothing confirmed yet )
Nothing is really confirmed at the moment!
The Titles that should be in are:
Aliens 3
Aliens 4
Aliens vs Predators 2
Predator 2

Not sure what the other Titles might be... only guessing at the moment (but there are some rumours!)

They must think people will buy anything once the word 'Steelbook' is attached to it

Personally I'm avoiding these (will def get MM Titanic, Avatar and I robot though) and wait and see will Play release a much better one of these in the future.

I maintain AVP is the worst steelbook ever, but with these coming up I think we have a few more in contention. I have every other Alien and Predator steel apart from AVP (and Predator Germany) out of principle. Look forward to this one though..

Absolutely! And IT IS like this (at least in Germany!)...
Price is the same or sometimes cheaper than the same in Amaray case (at release time!) and they have the same artwork (also with infos on the backside!)...
So for the german market (whre they SEEM to be aimed at!) it absolutely works out for FOX!!!


By the way, that does not mean i like the way they are executed

I hope they will use the poster artwork, and some debossing. (i.e. Zimmer 1408 debossed, Death Race debossed, incredible MM releases).

I'm really hoping they'll also release a Predators steelbook. Maybe they even learned from their mistakes and we can enjoy inside artwork and no text on the back ...
But here in Germany steelbooks have become a mass product, it's not considered to be something special anymore, so I think we'll get the budget version like the 1st wave ...

Alien 3/4 are going to be released for sure, as it would make no sense to just release 1 and 2
