All are XL slips

The previous Covenant E1/E2/E3 none of these was XL Slips

I'm not a big fan of Xl slips so far as the embossing was better on standard size slips IMO

All are going to be XL?! What a f*****g stupid decision ! FA, you are f*****g unbelievable in your logic, someone up there needs a kicking for the fact that they are soooo stupid and thought that would be a good idea.

Stupid FA employee - “ Hey I know, let’s make these all XL slips so that any franchise we put out there in premium looks odd side by side and shows no consistency!’

Even more stupid FA Employer - “ Yes, that’s a great idea, better still, on the next one in the franchise to be released in reverse order, let’s not do XL slips, but O ring slips instead, because that would be showing that we give a flying F**k about what collectors want. We can also jack up the price, limit it to only 50 & if a customer chooses not to go for the next release of the franchise, we’ll ban them from buying further releases in that franchise!”

Stupid FA employee - “ Yes, that’s sounds like a great idea, better still, let’s do T2 in XL also, because that would look great with the rest of franchise ! Oh and Apes Trilogy!

Really not happy about this, makes the mind boggle, really does.

I'd recommend everyone who is concerned about the XL Slips to shoot FA an email. May not change anything but worth a shot giving them our input on this matter.
It would really be nice to have variety and an option that has continuity with Covenant.



EDIT: i did receive a response pretty fast on my question. Here's what they said in regards to this edition being only XL Slips.

For PROMETHEUS we will be using XL fullslips especially for two reasons:

- the exclusive steelbook will feature 3 discs inside, that means very low inside space for additional content
- more collectible material we are able to provide to our customers/collectors

With XL editions - the Maniacs box is gonna be huge. (Maybe not John Wick huge.......but big!)

no actually Maniacs Boxes should be the same size, but the special collectible box inside should be smaller

I've just emailed them as well. Nothing makes my blood boil more than the same company doing releases in the same franchise with different styles and/or sizes. It doesn't bode well for the rest of the set if there's already differences between the first 2 releases.

With 3 XL editions - it will be much bigger than their last Maniacs boxes. (Which held normal sized editions). It would be nice if all MB were the same size - But the 3 XLs are gonna make the box much fatter.

3 xls and still a special gift needs at-least 20 mm more for a maniac box by calculations done early.

Logan, which has a huge collectible box inside. if you decrease this box size, you have enough space for 3 XLs

I don't own it so I can't confirm, but when I asked, Filmarena told me War for the Planet of The Apes Maniacs was the same size as newest ones (like Logan), and this one has a XL inside.

That 3D embossed slip for Covenant is ugly as Hell, it looks like a High School Project

Have you seen it in person? I can't take a good photo of my Covenant embossed slip no matter how much I try but it looks great in person.

It does look really nice in hand. I think if you don’t like it from the pictures then seeing it in hand won’t change your mind though. For me it looks good and is nice to have something different!

Kinda wish Covenant was XL as well... Modded my Steelbook to hold more discs and now have nowhere to put the art and character cards.
