If you didn't like the embossing treatment on Covenant's E3, imagine that, but 10x worse lol. Therein lies your answer :bag:
Just like anything else - you can't really judge it until it's in your hands. There have been many steelbooks people excoriated until they saw it for themselves and then did an about face.

I have the embossed Alien Covenant E3 and I am very happy with it. I love the artwork they used on that one to use for the embossing, but this just feels like they have gone a little too far. Not a fan at all, neither of the artwork how how much it has been embossed by.

Happy to stick with a Prometheus UNnumbered edition because lets be honest, the film itself wasn't that great, and while the WEA steelbook is certainly the best looking one for this film that I have seen, the E3 slip is not a looker. lol

I stopped reading after the film itself wasnt that great. I mean seriously? :dizzy:

I commend them for trying something different, but that vacuum formed slip looks horrendous (sorry). It worked pretty well with Covenant IMO, but they've seriously overdone it here. Not only that, but how would you even store it? I hope it's really limited, because I imagine they're going to struggle to shift them all otherwise.

E3 sold out months ago as did E1 and E2

It's the reverse Midas touch of Damon Lindelof. Everything that guy touches turns to turns to :BS:.

Has certainly tempered my expectations for the upcoming Watchman series. :ohno: Though he did helm The Leftovers, which I've heard is pretty good.

The embossing of E3 is just to heavy, especially the title... I also have to admit that I overall don't like all the different full Slips this time

But the steelbook itself is awesome!

Wow, that's pretty impressive moulding ... more 3D than even the first pressing of the delightful JENNIFER'S BODY UK Amaray slipcover.
As with everything that sticks out care has to be exercised to avoid damage to and rubbing of the protruding parts . . .
