Does Flipkart deliver internationally?

Flipkart doesn't deliver items internationally. You are more than welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world, but you'll have to ensure the Delivery Address is within India.

I didn't check the other website...

No point in ordering this outside India really. It's available almost everywhere.
Even with its population I can't many Indians picking this up.. 3D??

This is a must have for me.Loved that movie alot.

Yes, those are Indian websites. They only ship within India or sometimes to Sri Lanka. In case you are interested, I might be able to help, let me know. Though I really don't know what a GB is all about and how to go about it because I'm new to this forum but I can do it if someone can tell me.

Are there any group buys for it, and has anyone ordered from these sites before?

No GB Big Boi - there isn't enough interest in the Indian steelbook releases at the moment to justify a group buy. Nevertheless, I'm sure you can find Indian members to help you out if you wanted :)

Ive ordered from both those sites before, and with the right instructions, the items usually arrive undamaged. These sites do not ship outside India as of right now.

Received the Prometheus steel a little while earlier today

Very nice finish, shame about the shrinkwrap though - a little battered. Indian retailers need to understand that these products deserve better care!

+1

That's why I spend a little more (or sometimes a little less :naughty:) and get steels from Amazon [European], Taiwan [Asian] or international retailers only. I've become sick and tired of deailing with Indian Retailers. No matter what we do, they're never gonna understand the concept of sensitivity towards products or customers :(

BTW congratulations on your new steelbook

Recently I received 2 Steels from JSDVD. One with loose disc and one with scuff marks on the slip case. Go figure. It is the same with everyone but just that people are a bit more informed.

Sad to hear that mate. Well, you do have a point there. I have had similar experiences with Amazon as well (mostly due to their new Frustration free packaging which more frustration than anything else). But yeah, at least they know what you are talking about, unlike Indian Retailers, for whom a minor dent or shrink wrap tear is a no big deal.

Agreed because except for few people no one knows what Steelbooks are but the excel store in eBay is pretty darn good as they sent me a replacement copy and came in person to pick up the damaged Steelbook as the company had a branch operating in my hometown. This may sound weird to people living in developed countries but this is 100% the truth.

That's good to know mate. And that's what Flipkart does too. If you need a replacement, they'll bring a new piece with them and take back the old one. Hoping to see a better future for steelbooks ahead
