This movie is loosely related to the aliens trilogy. Loose enough to make me want to have the entire collection in steelbook form. Since I have the aliens trilogy boxset already. Im not likly to double dip.

Yeah, I never know why or how they decide what to make the region of a blu ray.

I'm going to get this either way but it would be nice not to have to double dip because I don't own a region free player.

shame on you ridley! I soooo wanted this film to be good, but.....this is without doubt one of the worst films I have ever seen! And I am a big Ridley Scott fan! I was looking forward to this coming out and I was even prepared to be disappointed after having read some reviews, but nothing could have prepared me for what a shocking mess this film is. I hate hate hated it! Dumb, pointless characters, stupid ideas about aliens being Jesus etc, the worst editing you'll ever see and more plot holes than I've ever seen in a movie that even one of Ridleys great directors cuts and two more sequels couldn't fix! Still, I'll buy the steelbook cos it looks good and hope for some great extras and that 'directors cut' I guess buying films you hate is a sign you are buying too many steelbooks lol!

I read it. The French one is described as 3D/BD/BD Bonus/ DVD/DC. Thus 4 Discs, same as French Titanic Steelbook.

If you ignore the universe its set in and the director, your left at the very least with a above average sci fi flick with awesome visuals?

Maybe i enjoyed it too much and am blind!

Meh, stuff it... I've put in an order. I figure Play have given us some really decent steels as of late for very generous prices, so why complain over a few extra quid on this one. They deserve it for listening to customers and upgrading their packaging, and at least we know this will definitely arrive in mint condition, unlike if a certain other retailer were to sell it.

I hated it so much because the plot was basically nonsensical and the characters were the dumbest I've ever seen. This should have been intelligent and profound sci-fi....it was neither. Ok its not battlefield earth in terms of how bad it was but considering the talent involved I just don't see how this isn't the biggest movie making disaster of all time!? Great visuals for sure. I actually think this is worse than Alien resurection.
