Because most of the time the original poster art is the only approved art by the studio to be able to be used

yeah most of the time those special features can be found on the second disc of 2 blurary disc releases (another reason why i hate triple & double play so much )

btw i just noticed that there is no run-time listed for amazon's Special Edition, which has been outselling the regular version since it went up for pre order.

This has to mean a Director's Cut version of Prometheus right? i really hope play's steelbook is the same, because £24 is a lot for a non-definitive, possibly inferior version of such a highly anticipated prequel

Re Director's cut, don't forget that Ridley said that the theatrical cut was the Director's cut. Personally I reckon that's and a longer version will appear. Similarity to the 2 versions of Aliens (yeah I know they weren't Scott films) maybe ?

Just got in from my holiday to see that this was announced! think this will send me to buying my first 3d tele. I'm not hugely into it but there were a few moments in this film which really were amazing.
