Awesome outside art, stunning inside art, great movie (subjective?), go for it!
Though admittedly it is a little pricey.

i will pre order but wish the price goes down and maybe the us will get a box set with all alien/ Prometheus movies although i have the aline anthology but would like to get more

I think it's confirmed to be the only Steelbook for the UK, but there's bound to be loads released worldwide

Not the biggest fan of the movie, but the steel definetly looks nice. Really like the front, back and insid art. I wonder if they will release this in the US as a steel. I want to get this, but don't really need 3D..... TBD

I can tell you for certain that the USA will not be getting a steelbook for this release.

Comes straight from people in the know that Fox / North America does not plan on creating movies in steelbook packaging anytime soon.

The image on the reverse of the steelbook sold it for me. I've always liked this ship design (from the grainy first view of it from Alien on LV-426), so a must buy from me.

I did actually enjoy the movie too, and look forward to the extended version filing in a few gaps, but overall, very enjoyable.

This is beginning to look like a worldwide exclusive (anyone know of other countries releasing this?).

If I'm correct, and it is a worldwide exclusive, I suggest anyone who is sitting on the fence, better get off, and pre-order before it sells out.

EDIT: Just seen a thread on the Finland release. If its confirmed, I expect it will get a Scandinavian release. 2D only?

It's a Fox film so it depends. Rise of the Planet of the Apes, a Fox release, was also a play.com exclusive and that was region free. Hopefully this will be as well.

It's a fab looking steelbook, a wee bit on the top end of the price range, but I think the film, while not a patch on Aliens, is still a solid piece of entertainment.

the only thing that is bugging me is the title. I wish they would use the original font

in terms of price, I'm more than happy to pay what they're asking for it. can't wait to see this again
