There could be a reason that the price is high, maybe Play bought the worldwide steelbook rights, or it has a crazy low number of copies of just 2,000. Something is certainly different with Play's pricing policy on this one. Interesting...

It's a high price because it's 3D, France also look to be releasing a steelbook, FNAC is confirming this to customers anyway, amazon.fr had 'steelbook' up for a hwile but then dropped it. Also I think Czech Rep. is getting a release (and Hungary?).

dont think so, a MediaMarkt in germany said, they will get the 3D Steelbook of Prometheus too

Well, its not a catalogue title, its a new release, and its 3D, so we can expect it to cost more than the recent Play exclusives. I agree that £23.99 is a little high, but it certainly looks like a winner to me.

If this sells out before release date (and I think it will), then we will have to pay a hell of a lot more to get one from ebay.

The 3D disc is got to be worth at least £6, take that away and your left with a solid £17.99 steelbook and digital copy, but nevertheless ORDER IT NOW, its gonna be smooth and matty with its of sheen, any deboss is a bonus.
And the movie is excellent, worth a few repeat views, plus the extras...cant wait for this one! PRE-ORDER IT NOW, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR

Iron Man steelbooks have been released in different countries, at differnet times, in different styles, there are a lot out there. Prometheus hasnt been released, is a PLAY exclusive with a print run of not more than 5000...there are more than 5000 Iron Men steelbooks

I myself preordered this as soon as it came availible...this is a no brainier for me, I adore the artwork and I'm sure I'll love the film! ...
