The price is a lot more for the same thing.

If the Taiwan edition was different I would have ordered.

Also mentioned that the Taiwan edition could be region A locked.

But I'm in the UK and you're not. so it's your call.

Cancelled play.com version, ordering Taiwan edition. It came out to be about the same price elsewhere anyway since I have to import both of them. And I wouldn't order my steelbook from yesasia They are much more expensive at yesasia than other places.

Sorry to post in here but is is sort of related - I've searched on the search but is any country releasing a steelbook of Prometheus with just 2D?

As far as I know there aren't any 2D only steels at the moment.

There is a Prometheus 2D steelbook being sold here in Sweden for 249 SEK with origin from Finland.

The Swedish discshop site ships within most European countries as far as I can see for 100 SEK (free shipping in Sweden right now). Which would bring the total price higher than play.com's price...

If you use the code "Höstfilm2012" you can bring down the price a bit and get it for 228 SEK shipped in Sweden.

I just had to bite the bullet on this and pre-order it. Just watched the movie and I loved it that much that the price became redundant. Great soundtrack and cinematography I must add. Also a great standalone movie set aside the Alien connection. Didnt want to miss out on the steelbook as I am pretty sure this is soon to be OOS as it has been at the top end of Play pre-order chart for a lengthy time despite its price.
