hello all, my first post here. i've just preordered the french steelbook with four disc's 3 blu ray/ 1 dvd. is this the better deal do you think or should i cancel and go for the play steelbook that has no dvd. are there any pros and cons other than the extra dvd? thanks in advance.

their's a possibility the French steelbook will be G1 (DVD sized) and will probably have the banner printed onto the top. The play.com steel is G2 size and no printed banners

As above the French version looks G1 sized and looks like it has a printed banner but if that doesn't bug you the real question is do you need the DVD? Because if you have Blu-Ray there's not much point watching the DVD is there! Up to you at the end of the day but the best option is probably the Play.com release

Warner France is the only one to make Steelbook in G1 size

Careful there with the statement on Fox's French steelbooks - Rise of the Planet of the Apes has inside art, banner, embossed/debossed titles, bonus items, and glossy finish. Quite an outstanding steelbook collectible.
