Just got my Scandinavian version from Cdon.se. No embossing or debossing. Matt finish... Looks ok, but it came with a big scratch on it and some dents so it's going back.

Have two copies ordered from Play.com, will just keep those. Oh, and the discs are region free. Don't see why they shouldn't be for play.com version. Also, this one from scandinavia has an extra disc holder so I think it's exactly the same as the play.com version but just that they never put a 3D disc in it.

Edit: Or maybe not, the picture above has no blu-ray logo like the scandinavian version on the lower right corner...
