Mine has a straight line along the spine on the plastic wrapper, thankfully not on the actual steelbook itself! But from what I'm hearing, this is happening to a lot of people everywhere.

I'm just glad I haven't received any damaged steelbook since collecting a year ago... *knocks on wood*

really enjoyed this, wasn't sure what to expect with the mixed reviews but i'l have to send mine back as its chipped n dented,don't know whether to get another or not, if I contact play will they save me one in case it sells out before they get my return which will no doubt take days to get there??????

No the extras are only available with the 3D version but they are on a separate disc and in 2D.

I've asked for one, I've sent that picture and asked them to dispatch a replacement first and then I'll return this. Whether they will do that i'm not sure. But I've been burnt before with stuff going OOS while being stuck in the returns process, and ending up with nothing but a refund

yeah mine is damaged too and it will probably be sold out by the time mine gets returned,it would be so much better if they just sent out replacements right away like amazon, would play not be able to keep us a copy???

I remember when Play sent me the Kick Ass steel without a disc inside, they dispatched a replacement immediately, but that may have been an exception at the time.

The only way around it I guess would be to order another one now, and request a refund for the damaged one.

yeah I have done that before and did think of it earlier its just a pain having to fork out another 24 quid

yeah I think that's pretty normal to have that anyway mate, going to have to order another copy in the morning and send the 1 I have back for refund just hope this 1 comes in mint condition , at least i'l get this 1 quick if I use 1st class delivery.

Anyone else have 2 small dents / impressions on the front top & bottom opening lip?

My Avengers Assembled Steelbook came with the same marks. Unfortunately it's to do with the pressing machine. I used to form metal sheets many moons ago and this would happen periodically.

Everyone that collects steelbooks knows that these impressions are not dents or dings, your steelbook is safely classed as mint.
