Got a sealed/mint copy of this for my birthday off my brother. He got a few copies when it went for £9.99 on one of those play.com sales.

lol
I never bought this one due to knowing that the rating logos would be on the front but only now I have seen the back and I can't stop lol about all the people that have said that this was a good steel.
I am a QT fan always have since I saw Dogs at the cinema on its original release and I have bought his movies so many times but this is a pile of ****. Ratings printed on it and Sam without the wig on the back, un-****ing-believable! I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the recent US/Canadian Steel I was shocked but actually on the back of this (apparently great) Play.com steel....I am shocked anyone could want/like this shite steel.

Takes a lot to get my goat but this got it and did unspeakable things to the poor bugger.

Currently there is no great PF Steel the nearest is the Japanese copy and that is not saying much (which is the only one I own).

Think you are in the minority with this opinion. Even with the printed logos this steelbook oozes class. One of my fave steelbooks for my fave movie. Love it and its worth its price tag

Safe to say you're not a fan then !?! :oohyeah:

He's like that in a number of different promotional shots, most of them surfacing around the time the movie hit home video, no idea why though. Would love to know.

Not ideal, but it doesn't bother me much to be honest. This is still the best Pulp Fiction steel available by a mile, and frankly, if ever there was a least-obnoxious opportunity to print ratings logos, it's on this, which is already half-designed to look like a magazine cover, so they actually look a bit like they belong there.

Some of the promotional posters and images were shot before filming at a session when things weren't quite set in stone. A wig was ordered for the first poster shoot and it was terrible so Jackson is seen with his own hair in those early promos. Later posters has him in the wig. If you own one of the original double sided advance posters without the wig you are sitting on a couple of thousand dollars! They are far more sought after than the later stuff.
