To be fair, the gloss looks way better than the previous photos have shown off, and the black is a nice shade. The front is a bit boring but it's not bad, much better than ID4.

Glad I cancelled this a while ago. Zavvi seems to put the production price of the Steelbooks down with reducing the quality similar to The Place beyond the pines.

best for extras and picture

I wont be bothering with the Rambo 2 and Rambo 3 steelbooks
If Picture Quality and extras important to you get the German Trilogy Ultimate Edition


Steelbook releases are great but its no point to me getting a steelbook if the disc inside is poor version and this looks to me its just to get rid of dvd and blu ray that did not sell before the Uk releases of Rambo trilogy is very poor compared to other region releases

Snooloui's pics are rather forgiving. But Naughtius's, oh boy, those pics do it no favours at all. The slip is an unexpected bonus though. I like when they carry over the artwork like this.

I take it you avoided a spine slash?

Front and finish are both disappointing. Too much matte black.

Back, inside, and discs look nice. Not sure what I wanna do. Sounds fun and all with #2 and #3 announced, but I'm not feeling overly gutted that I cancelled this. It appears that Commando beat Rambo in this round.

i hope its not as bad as it looks for those that have bought this. Think i'm going to wait and see what the steels look like in hand before I buy any more from Zavvi. Might miss the odd one that goes OOS but better that than having steels I don't like.

It's been a bad week for steelbooks, damage, spine slashes, mis-sold artwork, mis-aligned embossing, cheap finishes on the Studio Canal steels etc.
