To be fair, the gloss looks way better than the previous photos have shown off, and the black is a nice shade. The front is a bit boring but it's not bad, much better than ID4.

You HAVE to choose your language in the welcome screen otherwise no option to change once you get to the main screen. I've tested it and it does play in Spanish language etc

I caved in and just ordered :ordered:
I must be mad to but I love steelbooks
but I will be replacing the Blu Ray Disc with the Blu Ray from my German box set

If someone can pass on customer feedback to StudioCanal
Please for Rambo 2 and Rambo 3 steelbooks
use the 2011 Blu Ray Discs not the 2008 Discs
Let customers have the best Discs

When will you learn that these back catalogue Steelbooks are only a way of dressing up old ****** discs that never sold well in the first place and getting a massive mark up on them while they're at it?!! :(

I'll never go for these Rambo Steelbooks. You shouldn't have to replace a disc in something new that you just spent your hard earned cash on.

Not too sure if I want these, I already own the US releases and I know the UK transfers are supposed to be slightly better....decisions decisions :ohno:

E2A

Could these be returned spine slashed copies?

Do it, man....
You know you want to...
You NEED to....
Go on....it's easy.....just do it:naughty:

YEAH.....Post #666.....

Got mine through mint, im very pleased with it, understated and classy.

If you look carefully, they painted matte OVER gloss by the looks of it, the sides are real glossy and you can see the seam around the front edge where the gloss ends and matte begins, so essentially they sprayed the matte over the gloss, not the gloss on the knife :hilarious:

I highly doubt they went to the trouble of painting the sides gloss.

On a side note, im loving these studio canal steels without any glue or stickers, the j-card just sits over the steel so a quick and easy unpack :scat:

Just make it matte or glossy. This gloss treatment thing they have been doing with some releases is a FAIL in my opinion. One consistent finish works

Big Lol are you trying to suggest Rambo never sold well

Well think again Zavvi are doing a super job with theses catalogue titles. Oh and forget films like Taxi driver and finding nemo. Do you seriously believe these never sold well. Laughable mate really try talking some sense.

did you even read what he said, he's talking about the old discs not the steelbook , which includes the old disc by the way

Rambo UK-poor transfer, 12 Monkeys UK-poor transfer, Finding Nemo UK-no 3D, these are just some examples. Collectors would have purchased the superior releases of these movies already ie: A better transfer from another country or Criterion edition (The Game) for the best features.......

These old discs are just repackaged in Steelbook form and a premium price slapped on them. But you've got your tongue so far up Zavvi's ass you can't see this.

I guess it's the age old scenario: You can't polish a turd.
