Re watched The Conjuring last night. It’s an excellent horror. I’m pretty numb to horrors (although I love em), but this is still unsettling. Great film. Vera Farmiga is great as usual.

Love and Monsters - 7/10
There's a lot of stuff I didn't like about this movie, but for some reason it worked. I'd say it's probably aimed at teenagers, but it's good for the whole family. Really watchable, nicely paced, good CGI, believable end-of-the-world type setting. Plus it has Michael Rooker..!
Nice message at the end too about family and just getting out there and doing your thing rather than waiting and thinking what could have been. Definitely a good message at times like these.

Been a fan of Sasha's since the early days of Ali G and Borat for me is one of the best characters that he has created :D
I loved the original back in 2006 so I expected this to be just as good.
When it comes to controversy Sahsa certainly doesn't disappoint.
If you're a fan of him or not its definitely worth a watch

The Witches 2020 - 2/5, don't bother. Octavia Spencer is the only thing stopping me from giving this 1/5.

The Lighthouse 2019 - 3/5. Second viewing of this, somehow seemed more harrowing the second time around but still pretty pretentious in parts.
I think, personally, I would have killed Dafoe sooo much earlier on, he'd drive me insane without the other factors

Been meaning to watch this for some time now but just never got around to it, anyway I finally give it a watch tonight and to be fair I wasn't really missing out on anything if id never watched it.
Id heard a very mixed bag of reviews for this and I can really understand why. As it goes for horrors this really wasn't my cup of tea.
I do the other hand think that ART the Clown as a character was pretty good and if a film was put together better than this one was it might be a decent horror.

I was at one point hoping to pick up the Cinemuseum recent release for its and maybe I might still as I really do like the Art on the slips and would now save me having to open it up, doubt id want to watch it again
I know that there is a second coming out to this so id be interested to see how that turned out with the slightly higher budget it was given.
