Heard nothing but terrible things about this - most folks just saying it was cliched, which it was tbf, but that's kinda what I liked about it... made it feel old school sci-fi horror like Alien. I thoroughly enjoyed it anyhoo and would love a sequel of some sort. The score was thumping too!

Rewatch. This is my pic of the trilogy. I'm a sucker horror anthologies or a decent found footage movie and this combines the two nicely. The Gareth Evans segment elevates the other segments. You will know before putting it on if this is your kind of thing but if you have missed this, like anthology/ found footage its a fair use of 90 mins.

. The Mrs choice for Saturday night. A family of street thieves/ con artists scraping a living on the fringes of society. Indie vibes, unusual characters leading unusual lives. - probably not everyones cup of tea. Made us think of a gentler Parasite. One of the better new films I've seen this year.

Reminded of this one after a retrospective in this months Empire magazine. Fine for a Friday night lark, but time has not been so kind in other regards. Opening sequence in Venezuela is good, Julian Sands less so.

Couldn’t find a thread for it, but has Anyone watched sorry to bother you? It’s currently on Netflix and it’s f**king bonkers!
It’s as if spike jonze has made a modern day version of Brazil. Highly recommend (FYI spike didn’t direct - just a comparison)

Drive ( original Soundtrack )

Watched this sometime back for the first time when the Special edition with an alternative soundtrack was released, Loved the film back then

Give it another watch the other night on Amazon which was the version with the original soundtrack and have to be honest, Zane Lowe's attempt doesn't have a patch on the original.
It fits the film so well, brilliantly in fact and kinda gave me a whole different look on certain scenes.

The film is fantastic but this soundtrack gives it that extra spark :notworthy:

Brilliant stuff.

Just watched Jaws on 4k , stunning film great colors. Some people don't like the grainy look from the film, but I personally love it. I think the 4k treatment looks the best on the older film movies.
