RE-ANIMATOR update… We can confirm we are releasing
on Blu-ray and DVD (Region B/2) on June 2nd. The Blu-ray will be a 2 Disc Limited Edition Steelbook and feature both Unrated and Integral versions.

Bonus Features will include - audio commentary with director Stuart Gordon; audio commentary with producer Brian Yuzna, and actors Jeffrey Combs, Robert Sampson, Barbara Crampton and Bruce Abbott; Re-Animator Resurrectus documentary; interviews with Stuart Gordon and Brian Yuzna, writer Dennis Paoli, composer Richard Band and Fangoria editor Tony Timpone; extended scenes, deleted scene and trailers.

German Edition Is Better

I think it's much cooler than the German version

Re-Animator UK steelbook looks great but you only get one of the films : Re-Animator 1, compared to the German edition where you get Re-Animator 1 and 2 for roughly the same price as Zavvi.

The German steelbook also loses out on the extended 'Integral' version of the first movie. The UK steelbook of the 'Re-Animator' will also have a different transfer to the German one and more extra materials.

Personally I would go with the UK steelbook and then pick up the UK steelbook of 'Bride' when Second Sight release it in the future

Want this but the prices are still rising this year.

Now a catalogue title seems to have jumped from 14.99 to 17.99 now which is borderline ridiculous. I really hope someone steps in with a more realistic price.

Wondering if anyone who ordered through Zavvi have had a despatch notice yet? I have a couple of other steels also due out on the 2nd June and these have despatched but this one hasn't.. it's not an issue, I was just curious!

Last time I Pre-Ordered a second site release from Zavvi it was never dispatched (Even vanished from their website) and ended up having to order from AmazonUK
