I at least expected it to be despatched today.. all my other June 2nd releases have shipped... maybe they just haven't had the stock yet? This isn't exactly a big well known studio like Fox.

I've found Amazon don't normally ship until the Saturday - but I know Zavvi ship a few days ahead as it takes so long for delivery, I received my Full Monty steel today, also not out til Monday. Not sure if this is a issue with the retailer or supplier, but I would have expected Zavvi to have shipped this by now..,

mine just arrived from amazon, when i saw the package i feared the worst, it was crushed and filthy, but the steel was fine, nice steel book, shame there is no inside art but i'll do custom art..
Plus didn't know the unrated version was a brand new 4k restoration!

No inside art in 2014? Poor and lazy

Agreed. Part of me expected it though I guess - their steelbook of Scanners had no inside art either, yet 'Return of the Living Dead' has inside art AND a collectors book... I was kind of hoping we might have got a similar treatment here... but I guess they spent more of their time/budget on the actual restoration of the prints, rather than the packaging :(

Agreed. The last UK Steelbook (excluding jumbos) without inside artwork was Scanners, also from Second Sight, back in April 2013. If they want to compete with companies like Arrow and Eureka, then they need to put more effort in.

Depends how you look at it. I've bought Re-Animator for the disc content, the fact it comes in a steelbook is an added bonus to me in all honesty. If it were available as an amaray from Second Sight then that would've been the one I would have bought. In my opinion they easily compete with Arrow, etc when it comes to content and discs (but I know this isn't the point you were making).

I do agree though, it is laziness and it can't be that much of an extra task to stick some interior artwork inside, but this is something that doesn't bother me one bit.

In reply to your deleted post Snoo - I agree. But they know they're onto a winner with steelbooks and will make a nice bit of £££ off it
