RE-ANIMATOR update… We can confirm we are releasing
on Blu-ray and DVD (Region B/2) on June 2nd. The Blu-ray will be a 2 Disc Limited Edition Steelbook and feature both Unrated and Integral versions.

Bonus Features will include - audio commentary with director Stuart Gordon; audio commentary with producer Brian Yuzna, and actors Jeffrey Combs, Robert Sampson, Barbara Crampton and Bruce Abbott; Re-Animator Resurrectus documentary; interviews with Stuart Gordon and Brian Yuzna, writer Dennis Paoli, composer Richard Band and Fangoria editor Tony Timpone; extended scenes, deleted scene and trailers.

The unrated version is the official Director's Cut with all the original gore. The integral extended version is the unrated version plus some extra non violent story scenes that were original cut from the film.

I bought the German mediabook of both Re-animator and Bride of Re-animator. May buy this steelbook too though as its a particular favourite movie of mine. If Bride comes in a steelbook I will get that too.
Just a shame Second sight took sooooo long to announce the release otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the German version.

I'm not in love with the cover, but it's definitely different!

same here, that's a cool different art but it needs the right finish to make it vibrant like the german one. And with right finish i mean a pool full of gloss.

I just hope they won't choose a washed out retro-style print.

I think that's the RRP - Zavvi's listing says 'save £7.00'. Could have sworn it only said 'save £2.00' last night though...
