Dude, I can't win. I just sold my US Copy of this and not I have no copy that is watchable. Screwed b6 germany again...
 
Spend $90 on insignia BD player that I got from best buy ... put those region free woes behind you ... I cant believe I didnt do it earlier!
 
I decided to buy the US versions of From Paris With Love and Reservoir Dogs to put inside the German Steelbooks. They were so cheap on amz so total price was fine.
FPWL (US) has a superior dts HDMA 7.1 soundtrack.

May I ask what model number it was NS-WBRDVD2 or NS-WBRDVD4?
Are they guaranteed multi-region?
 
its a remote control hack, you just hit 9113 while disc is in tray .. it brings up a Configure Player option ... then you pick the region, close the tray ... enjoy.

there was report that they had fixed this, and even when I received mine it didnt work at first ... but then I just clicked on "restore to factory settings" and tried it again. Walah, perfect.

The only problem with that is I would only be able to watch them in one plaCe. It's a good suggestion though. Eh, maybe just put it in the theater room and call it a day...

Was cheap for ages on amazon.de, just like Black Hawk Down and now they sold out. Since all of these releases (Crank, Gamer, Fear and Loathing, 5th Element,...) were allegedly limited to only 7000 - it seems as they are getting harder to find! I was surprised it took so long for R.D. to be OOP. Only SB edition worldwide, great movie...
