I get holes in the same spot. I is a pain, but I am just thankful to get them. I think you will find out that this steelbook will be highly sought after. Damn does it look nice with that slip!!!

Its too bad they use such thin shrinkwrap. I would rather they use the stuff that doesn't stretch and is actually folded on the corners like you see with most Taiwan steels.

Every country should follow Taiwan's shrink wrapping. Even Japan isn't as good but they use better quality material compared to the rubbish that the rest use.

Japans is the stretchy stuff, but at least they make it a perfect fit. Almost looks like there is nothing covering them as they even have zero wrinkles most of the time.

Korea uses stuff that is even less than the saran wrap I use at home. LOL.

I see nothing special about this slip.

I can see where you're coming from, but you're still wrong. :p

After the last few Sony Korean releases, this has picture and Resi logo where advertising has been on others titles like Total Recall.

This means it completely :scat:

There should be a poll for slipcover of the year to get a better gauge on what's out there and to better inform the collectors as well. with all these slips, you kind of get lost a little and difficult to keep up with all the releases.

The slip really doesn't matter to me in my personal collection since I TEAR thru the wrapping to get to the ultimate prize... but hey, if its going to add value to the resale, then I'm all for it :scat:

Picked up mine at the post office after work today. Awesome looking steel, but it came with a rip in the shrink wrap in the same place as domalorite's.

thats just plain wiered :ohno: as I got Fight Club (KR) with exactly the same slit in the shrink Wrap :dunno:

I dont give a Rats A$$ , but it looks like it is a Manu-facture issue perhaps ??

That hole is not a rip but a failure of the machine to completely seal the steelbook. It happens to other steelbooks sometimes too.

Could be a problem of the machine not pulling enough shrink wrap or some other mechanical issues.
