Well it looks like Best Buy will be getting the latest RE steel instead of Walmart which Im sure most American's will be happy to hear Im guessing. Same global artwork as everyone else.

I was just at Best Buy and they had these out already. The store I went to had about a dozen of these Steels and several dozens of the amaray version, 3D version, and DVD version. Only the DVD was on sale. The Steelbook and amaray case version were $24.99 each and the 3D version was $29.99 each. I was a bit surprised thse were out since I thought these weren't supposed to be out until Friday. But, at least it looks like these won't be on sale until Friday. I passed on getting it this time around, but I probably could've gotten it for $19.99 since it was advertised for that price in the flyer.

The weekly Best Buy flyer advertises this Steelbook as being on sale for $19.9, but it also states that it isn't available until Friday. I don't know if anyone else had seen these on shelves at their local Best Buy's today, but I can assure you that the one closest to me broke the street date and had these all out today.

i went to a bestbuy in my area and did not see these steel books out. so i can't say if they are putting them out. i think the link at the bestbuy deals won't become active until the day of release for people to purchase online, or even that. i did pick up sherlock holmes game of shadows on steelbook today for 9.99. though its just a single edition bluray, thats all. was a lil disappointed, thought it was two discs, one for the movie, and the other for special features.
i'm just hoping i can preorder this re retribution soon. i want to see it again.

I'm just glad US is finally getting blasted with steels. I don't care if 2D or 3D, I will still buy it

HELL YEAH !!! It's about time the US was shown some Steelbook-love !!! I've been enjoying the pacing of the US releases (about one a week,) and let's keep those combo packs coming (3D + Blu-ray + DVD)! My only gripe would be with Best Buy's cheap Warner wave of Blu-ray Steelbooks and the fact that they're so bare-bones. I would've LOVED to have shown my support for those US-released steelies (even at full price,) but instead I'm having to import the superior Canadian versions. Oh well; you win some, you lose some.

So I'm excited that they're continuing to release these Resident Evil movies in Steelbook. I can't wait to get them all, then have them all lined up on my shelf. I was in my Best Buy yesterday and saw where they had a couple of shelves cleared and emptied at the front of the store along with the RE price tags set up, but no copies of this movie sitting out yet. Shucks!

They will probably allow ordering for in store pick up friday morning before they open. That's what they did with the previous steelbook releases.

No luck at the store I went to but they did have 15-20 sbs of every other release besides spidey. I found a new store.

It should drop in price tomorrow when it is released. I'm not sure when the BB sales rotate though. In any case, the price should drop online too.
