Just got my copy this past week. It is truly gorgeous to have in hand. I'm a little disappointed it won't play on US blu-ray players, but thanks to kbr1656, I was able to at least watch the movie. Better than Chronicles, but Pitch Black is probably still my favorite.

You're welcome. I totally didn't ask for the shoutout standing 5 feet away or anything.:hilarious:

I don't understand why they would have a hard time getting funding for a movie with Vin in it. The guy is a great actor. I love sci fi and I am sure a damn large percentage of the male population in America loves sci fi as well.

What's the last Vin Diesel movie you saw that did not have the words "Fast" or "Furious" in the title? That might answer your question. His last movie outside of that franchise was Babylon A.D., released six years ago. If you were not one of the 1000 or so people who paid to see that, now you're going back a few more years to Find Me Guilty (2006) or The Pacifier (2005). I'd wager for most people on this forum, the last movie they saw with Vin that wasn't F&F, was The Chronicles of Riddick. That was 10 years ago. That's why he's not super marketable

I like this steelbook a lot. It looks like it has some copper tones to it under a slightly gloss look as well as a debossed title. Very beautiful steel to say the least. Also the movie was pretty good too. All-in-all I'm glad I got this one.

Great steel got this from HMV leicester the other week and really impressed with the design.
From what i hear they are thinking of doing another movie so here's hoping !

Lucky you, I looked in HMV Leicester 3 days after release and they were all gone.
Glad you got one though bud.

I was one of the lucky one's, as picked the last one up in my local HMV. Speaking to the sales assistant, one guy took 5 copies. Let's hope he was sending to fellow Ninja's. But my guess is that they were heading to eBay :-(

Anyone seen any others in-store, couldn't see any in Birmingham today, though they said they are showing 6 in stock, either been pinched or hidden....
