2 discs is correct
Blu-ray and DVD

The Blu-ray disc is supposed to be a Hybrid disc
3D/2D on same disc
Have you actually tried playing the Blu-ray disc to see if disc play menu has option to select 3D

Was it new or used item you purchased
If used previous owner might have swapped 3D/2D disc for regular Blu-ray disc

I see that I Robot for example plays normally but from menu there's option to choose 3D or 2D. Some movies even if it's 3D play it 2D while most of them don't even play if there's one missing component in chain needed for 3D.

It also might be that JD Exclusive in China had an error in listing as 3D/2D and actual release was just 2D

That's my guess. I can't find any instance of this screening, or being released in 3D.

software rendered 3d is the new 3d in 2024, the pop up effects are pronounced in almost every scene, the only gripe is stereo crosstalk
